The project “Do not miss the calls - empowering graduates through information and communication technologies to enter the labor market” is implemented by the Belgrade Open School and portal Mingl, in cooperation with the Youth Office of Belgrade (Novi Beograd municipality), New Becej, Subotica, Kula, Obrenovac, Kragujevac, Kursumlija Loznica, Varvarin, Nis and Arilje.

Project participants were able to: 

• Learn more about active job search, self-employment and starting a career,

• Write their CV and prepare for job interview,

• Gain experience as a facilitator of workshops for their peers,

• Learn through interactive workshops and online training

• Selected graduates attended two-day course in the premises of the Belgrade Open School, and then two months of online training on 5 different topics. 

In addition to knowledge on job search and self-promotion on paper and at interview, during the training participants had the opportunity to gain basic knowledge about the conduct of workshops as well as coaching skills.

The acquired knowledge was then used for workshops for their peers at the local level.

The project was intended for graduates of vocational schools in Belgrade (Novi Beograd municipality), New Becej, Subotica, Kula, Obrenovac, Kragujevac, Kursumlija, Loznica Varvarin, Nis and Arilje. In addition to graduates, coordinators of 12 Youth Offices of the mentioned cities participated in the Project.

The project was implemented from September 2008 to March 2009.
