Belgrade Open School is dealing with policy research, policy recommendations and its improvement in the areas related to the European integration process, such as good governance, career guidance and counselling, education and labour market, energy, climate and environment. The research results are being used as a support to the advocacy activities of the Belgrade Open School’s and its partner organizations.

Besides that, it also provides a quality, reliable and innovative based solutions for improving public polices in order to achieve sustainable and accountable policy and decision making process. This organization also monitors the policy implementation and provides the policy solutions in this regard considering overall objectives and context. It also connects all actors engaged in the policy network (reform seekers, decision makers and those who are being affected by the decisions made) for securing comprehensive overview and problem solving which policy and decision making process should rely on.

The professionals engaged in public administration at all levels (state, provincial and local), as well as civil society organizations, represent primary target group of the Belgrade Open School’s research unit.
