Guidebook

Guidebook for public participation in environmental impact assessment

Authors: Mirjana Jovanović, Predrag Momčilović and Ognjan Pantić

Published: 2018.

The manual was created within the project Civil Society advocates environmentally friendly socio-economic development. The World Foundation for Nature (WWF) - in cooperation with partners from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia and Turkey - implemented the project Civil society advocates environmentally friendly socio-economic development (CO-SEED). CO-SEED contributes to the sustainable management of natural resources by supporting the improvement of the legislative framework and taking into account that the decision-making process regarding new infrastructure is more transparent and open to public participation. As part of this process, the Belgrade Open School has prepared a manual, "How the public participates in the process of environmental impact assessment"
