28. Jan 2021.

In this year's first, the 68th issue of the Newsletter, the Topic of the issue is focused on the Brexit - agreed separation of United Kingdom and the European Union. Text New Year, New EU: Agreed Divorce and Great "Friendship" discusses the main points of the joint agreement between UK and EU, which was reached at the end of December 2020 and most important changes that citizens of the United Kingdom will face. The Focus of the Newsletter is the Agenda 2030: Making the world a better place to live. This article deals with the (un)achieved Millennium Goals and the key conditions for success of the goals from Agenda 2030, the logical continuation of the Millennium Goals. In the Column The End of German Six Months – Now Portugal's tough nut to break , we analyzed the results of the German presidency of the Council of the European Union and the inevitable challenges that Portugal will face in the first half of the year. Also, we Present the Program of the Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the EU: Recovery in sight, program’s priorities and areas of action. Portugal took over its duty in the Council of the EU from Germany on January 1, 2021.
