A CEU online meetup took place on Friday, July 24. This meetup was a unique opportunity for dicsussion between incoming students and alumni of Central European University about various aspects of academic and students' life at CEU.

As the beginning of the new academic year approaches, future undergraduate, master's and doctoral students at CEU are preparing to continue their education in Vienna. As a part of these preparations, they had an opportunity to meet CEU alumni and hear about their experiences during studying, as well as to get useful and practical advice. They learned first-hand information about the life in Vienna, what lectures at CEU and socializing with other students look like, as well as useful instructions for easier navigation through technical procedures. Particularly important were CEU strategies mitigating potential risks stemming from the coronavirus pandemic and adapting to this new situation. 

Empowered by new information and advice, students continue to prepare for the fresh start at CEU in September 2020.
