PolitiKAS: About the role of the church in the modern world, global trends and energy policy of Serbia

05. Jun 2020.

Lectures on the PolitiKAS educational program continued online. During the previous weeks, the participants had the opportunity to learn more about the European Union after Brexit, the Berlin Process and the European integration of the Western Balkans, but also about the role of the church in the modern world, as well as how to be resilient regarding our rights to privacy.

The seventh lecture of the spring semester within the Politics II Module was given by Nenad Stekić, a researcher from the Institute of International Politics and Economics. He spoke about the Global Trends and the Modern World, emphasizing the importance of sudden events that have a great impact on world security and redefining international relations.

Within the module of European integration, a lecture about the Energy Policy in Serbia - from filling out the form to the real needs, was held by Varvara Aleksić, a doctoral student at CEU in the field of energy policy. Participants had the opportunity to learn more about the energy goals of the European Union, the impact that European integration has on the reform of the energy sector of the Republic of Serbia, but also to get acquainted with the functioning of the Energy Community.

There are three weeks left until the end of the Programme, and you can follow the news about the realization of the lecture on our website.
