Belgrade Open School (BOS) in partnership with the Belgrade Fund for Political Excellence (BFPE) and the Balkan Investigative Reporting Network (BIRN Serbia) announces Call for Proposals under the Civil Society Support Program for Public Advocacy. The program is being implemented under the project "Active Citizens - Better Society: Advocacy for Cooperation and Democratic Development", supported by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
The project "Active Citizens - Better Society: Advocacy for Cooperation and Democratic Development"is a three-year initiative launched to improve advocacy practices in civil society, practices that represent the interests of local communities and actively involve citizens in their work.
The second Call will support 10 civil society organizations through project support (which includes mentoring and financial support). The Program for Supporting civil society organizations for Advocacy was launched with the aim of improving advocacy practices in Serbia and bringing civil society advocacy activities closer to citizens. The program encourages civil society organizations to take an innovative approach to designing and implementing advocacy campaigns and building their own capacity through advocacy in practice.
Belgrade Open School invites interested CSOs to an Info session on Friday, January 17th in Belgrade, at which attendees will be able to inform about the Call for Proposals under the Civil Society Support Program for Public Advocacy.
The Info Session will be held in Belgrade, January 17, 2020, from 12.00 to 14.00 in the premises of Media Centre, Terazije Street 3. The Info Session can also be watched live via this video link.
