As a part of Future Studies Programme students of the XXVII Generation participated in a Students2Students pitch night on January 29, 2020.As Futures Studies students come from a variety of educational backgrounds and eager to learn about different topics, they are equipped with a diverse knowledge to share with their colleagues. Students2Students lectures give a framework for them to hold lectures on the subjects they are knowledgeable about and that inspire them.
Students2Students pitch night is a first step in the realization of these peer to peer lectures. The future lecturers pitch their ideas in the form of a short presentation. After the pitches on topics such as behavioural economy, user experience, investigative journalism, artificial intelligence, air traffic, gestalt therapy, and the influence of sports on the professional career, students voted on which of these subjects they would like to learn more about. Hence, during the Spring semester, XXVII Generation will have an opportunity to learn from their colleagues more about which kind of mistakes people make during decision making or how to create a digital product through design thinking.
Students2Students lectures are one of the extra-curriculum activities of the BOS Future Studies, a programme of nonformal education that the Belgrade Open School realizes for 27 years. The programme includes multidisciplinary knowledge and skills modules, Alumni2Students mentoring programme, internship programme, final project, and many side activities.
