Representatives of the Belgrade Open School and Philanthropy presented the lecture about discrimination to the students of Rifat Burdžović Tršo Elementary School in Tutin and shared their experiences of working with the migrant population.
On behalf of the project team, Ivan Topalovic presented the mechanisms of discrimination and explained why it is important to meet new people and cultures throughout our lives, and how this can enrich our lives. Zineta Sadiković and Anisa Mecinović, professors of the Serbian language, who provide educational programs within the ALMIT project, explained who are their students and how they learn the Serbian language, what the classes look like in the asylum camp and how they overcome the cultural and linguistic barriers.
