As the application deadline for the Central European University is slowly approaching, the BOS team organized three local presentations for students and high school students in Belgrade, Kragujevac and Novi Pazar discussing available programs and scholarships.
The Central European University (CEU) is preparing a series of novelties for the upcoming academic year. All programs will take place at a brand new campus in Vienna starting from September 2020. In addition to it, the CEU will offer two multidisciplinary BA programs for the first time - Culture, Politics and Society, and Philosophy, Politics and Economics. These programs are designed to offer responses to some of the greatest challenges of the 21st century. Another novelty includes the accreditation of CEU in Austria.
CEU enrolls about 1,400 students annually, out of which the largest percentage of the enrolled students come from Hungary, the United States, Russia, Turkey, Romania, India, Germany, Croatia, Serbia, and Ukraine. About 80% of students receive some form of financial support to complete their studies and obtain an international degree in their area of interest. These and other means of support and opportunities for professional development at CEU, as well as the application process, were discussed with interested students in Belgrade, Kragujevac and Novi Pazar.
Since 2003, Belgrade Open School has been a local unit of CEU and, thanks to the activities of the BOS, so far more than 230 students have had the opportunity to continue their education at the Central European University. If you would like to know more about the application process, the available programs and scholarships, please schedule individual consultations at the Belgrade Open School (Masarikova 5/16) by emailing at academic.savetovanje@bos.rs or by calling 011 30 61 577.
