The first courses within the project "ALMIT - Acceleration Of Labor Market Integration Of Immigrants Through Mapping Of Skills And Trainings" have been carried out in asylum centres in Tutin, Sid and Bogovadja from March to May 2019. This project includes around 120 refugees and immigrants from Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Burundi, Congo and many other countries, who actively participate in Serbian language courses as well as in civic and intercultural sessions.
Through interactive lectures within Serbian language courses, participants have the opportunity to get acquainted with grammar and vocabulary of the Serbian language. During the civil and intercultural sessions, participants are empowered to look for a job by way of writing CVs and motivational letters workshops, as well as preparing for an interview with potential employers.
