Future studies successfully empowered the 26th generation during the autumn semester

11. Jan 2019.

26th generation of students, of the educational programme Future studies, has successfully finished the autumn semester on 26th of December 2018. This semester was compounded out of 2 modules - Skills for the future and Future of the state and society. The entire semester was concluded with a lecture on Critical thinking, held by philosopher Ivan Milenkovic.

Lectures that were held during the month of December were extremely versatile, on both modules. Topics on the module Skills for the future were going all the way from Networking and social intelligence held by BOS' general director, Vesna Djukic, and Emotional intelligence held by Ivona Simic, to Leadership, which was discussed by a partner and friend of BOS, Rade Rakocevic.

At the module Future of the state and society the topics were Future of media, held by the editor or magazine Vreme, Stevan Ristic, Future of feminism, held by Adriana Zaharijevic, and also, Future of the work force, held by Kosta Andric.

Also, the last psychological workshop for students in the semester was held at the beginning of December. Students are impatiently awaiting the coming workshops in the spring semester.

One of the last activities was the Tango workshop which was held by Darko Dozic, from Tango natural Belgrade. Alongside the basics of the Argentinian dance, there was mention of basic body movements, as well as everyday mindfulness.

The semester was closed with the traditional New Year activities such as Christmas tree decoration, as well as exchange of gifts between students.

After the idilic holiday traditions, students are taking a well deserved vacation, so they could rest, and begin the next semester of Future studies full of enthusiasm, desire for learning, and of course, with a smile on their face. Beginning of the spring semester is planned for 22. January 2019.

Photographs of realized activities in the autumn semester Future studies can be seen in our gallery.
