First Training of trainers within ALMIT project was held on Tuesday, December 25th in Belgrade Open School. The training was attended by trainers with experience in refugee issues, and representatives of National Team, consisting of Belgrade Open School, Philanthropy – Charitable Fund of Serbia Orthodox Church and Municipality of Šid. Trainers will work on educational programs created for the needs of the migrant population currently residing in Serbia.
During the training, ALMIT project was represented, as well as didactic materials which is going to be used in piloting process of serbian language course and civic and intercultural sessions. Also, handouts for trainers who will implement these courses was represented as well as handouts for participants. Handouts for participants were created in aim to get functional knowledge which may improve their position in Serbia.
ALMIT - Acceleration Of Labor Market Integration Of Immigrants Through Mapping Of Skills And Trainings project aims to find ways to facilitate the integration of migrants into the labor market and during the project, will be piloted several courses of Serbian language, and civic and intercultural skills sessions. This project is funded by the European Union Programme for Employment and Social Innovation (EaSI).
In addition to getting acquainted with the activities within this project, the participants had the opportunity to exchange experiences and talk about the challenges they faced during the past work with the migrant population.
