On Tuesday, January 18th, 2018, the Belgrade Open School - BOS organized in its premises the group counseling for 28 students interested in studying at the Central European University - CEU.
Potential CEU scholarship holders had the opportunity to obtain advice from current and former students of the Central European University regarding the preparation of application documentation and thus provide greater chances for obtaining scholarships for master and doctoral studies at this prestigious university.
PREPARATION OF THE APPLICATION AND LIFE ON CEU
The students who attended the event had the opportunity to learn the most important information about the preparation of the CEU application through a direct discussion with current and former CEU students, as well as with members of the academic counseling team.
Some of the key questions that have attracted the attention of students on this occasion were:
- Necessary application documents;
- How to write a quality application;
- Academic essays, research proposals, motivation letters that need to be submitted when applying for different programs;
- Finances and stipends;
- Taking a standardized tests (TOEFL, GRE, GMAT, IELTS);
- CEU contact list and newsletter for additional information on specific programs.
In addition to preparing the application itself, students were introduced to the method and dynamics of work at various study programs of the Central European University, the national and ethnic diversity of students attending this university and other details of life and studies at CEU.
CEU WEBINAR AND INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING
For students who want additional information about the application process and studies at the Central European University, a mid-January webinar will be organized in which they will have the opportunity to talk in more detail with representatives of the university's students service.
