The fourth partners meeting and study visit for teachers within the 3D4VET project held in Portugal

The fourth transnational partners meeting within the project "3D Modelling Curriculum and Applications for 3D Printers and Tabs for VET Schools" was held on 20 and 21 of March 2018 in Seia, Portugal. Moreover, study visit for teachers was organized in the period from 19 to 23 March in Seia and Viseu, Portugal.

The partners discussed ongoing activities and reviewed the created learning materials and instructional videos which will be used within the training in 3D technology for vocational education teachers, vocational college lecturers and instructors.  

The aim of the study visit was to gain knowledge about the opportunities of using 3D technology in education through lectures, workshops and visists to companies and vocational schools who apply 3D technologies. Thirteen vocational education teachers from five countries participated in the study visit including two teachers from secondary technical schools from Serbia.

The project is realized by the Tuzla Mesleki ve Teknik Anadolu Lisesi (Turkey) in cooperation with the following partners: Belgrade Open School (Serbia), Marmara University Faculty of Technology (Turkey), Timarge Mechatronics Ltd. Co. (Turkey), Interprojects (Bulgaria), Nottingham Trent University School of Science & Technology (UK) Prosena SA  (Portugal).

This project is supported by the Program Erasmus+ (Key Action: Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices, Strategic Partnerships for VET education). The project is carried out from 1st of December 2016 to 30th of November 2018.
