PolitiKAS: Beginning of Lectures in the Spring Semester for the IX Generation

On Tuesday, February 20th, 2018, lectures began in the spring semester on the education program "PolitiKAS" for the IX generation of participants. Danijela Grubnic, the coordinator of the educational program "PolitiKAS", and Gordana Pilipovic from the Konrad Adenauer Foundation welcomed the participants, as well as Jelena Babic, the head of module Politics II, and Marko Danon, the head of the module Social and Economic Policy.

With the lecture of professor Miodrag Jovanovic, the Politics II module was opened, and the participants had the opportunity to discuss the identity divisions in the public sphere and how the institutions of democratic plural societies approach such problems.

Followed by professor Miodrag Zec lecture, participants discussed the politics of economic development and what are the main factors that influence it.

The spring semester is reserved for numerous lectures to familiarize participants with important information covering topics such as Germany's political system, monetary and fiscal policy, global trends in security policy, social market economy, globalization and modernization ...

As in the fall semester, students will write two academic essays at the end of the spring semester, which will refer to some of the topics they have covered on lectures. The participants also expect a visit to the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, which will also be of educational character.
