Representatives of the Belgrade Open School and the Regional Development Agency Zlatibor met on Tuesday, February 6, in Zlatibor, in order to improve cooperation through examining options for further development of the existing partnership.
Representatives of these organizations, in recognition of the successful and long-term cooperation between BOS and Regional Development Agency Zlatibor (RBA Zlatibor) in the field of energy, climate, and environmental protection, met in order to consider the potential for expanding the partnership to other areas of interest. During the meeting, the participants presented their organizations and their program areas in more detail and targeted points in portfolios around which further development of cooperation is possible.
Previous cooperation between the two organizations is characterized by the joint involvement of local communities from southwestern Serbia in consultative processes and educational content in the field of environmental protection. One of the key objectives of this partnership was to improve the quality of life of citizens in this region by enabling and promoting an open and participatory process of defining environmental policies in line with local needs.
Regional Development Agency Zlatibor is an open and creative organization that brings together the local communities of the Zlatibor region in order to support the sustainable socio-economic development and the stability of the Zlatibor region. RRA Zlatibor achieves its goals by encouraging competitive communities suitable for life and work by applying strategic planning, promoting a favorable business environment, marketing the territory and implementing development initiatives.
