Belgrade Open School brings you an overview of news in fields of Energy, climate and environment for December, through the third edition of "Energy, Climate and Environment" newsletter.
In November, the central topic was the United Nations Conference on Climate Change (COP23), and the key issue was whether the objectives of Paris Agreement would be achieved.
Climate policy, energy efficiency and renewable energy sources were important for European Union and countries of the region, as well as impact of hydroelectric power plants on environment, biodiversity and living conditions of local communities.
Air quality, due to the beginning of the heating season, was a key topic at the local level.
You can get information about these and other interesting topics in the third issue of the "Energy, Climate and Environment" newsletter, which can be downloaded here.
