In addition, they had the opportunity to learn about ideologies, electoral systems and ethics in politics, as well as European integration, the rule of law and the fight against corruption.
Participants shared, through a group work, their experiences about challenges of regional policy and cooperation, from the perspective of the countries they represent. Finally, through simulations, they had the opportunity to learn about process of forming post-election coalitions, and thus once again recall the significance of the decision-making process, active listening and consensus as a way of decisions making.
Over two hundred participants have passed through the education program for democracy. The program aims to provide young leaders additional knowledge about politics, to help them develop skills and motivate them and enable them to improve regional political co-operation.
