In April, Bioten Serbia has launched a campaign “Walk Tall”, with the aim of encouraging women to improve their self-confidence and walk upright through different challenges. The Belgrade Open School has created and implemented Intermezzo For You  programme for needs of Walk Tall campaign.

The programme represented the first prize within the campaign and participants who presented the way they deal with challenges in the most convincing manner had took part in it. Programme Intermezzo For You was held from 14th to 17th July 2016 in Vrnjacka Banja.

Walk Tall underlined importance of continuous development in every sense as a key message of programme. Alternating sessions of relaxation and discussion about building self-esteem, yoga sessions and stay at the spa have had for the purpose care of both body and spirit.

Sessions have been facilitated by experienced trainers from the Belgrade Open School in areas covered by this programme.

During the first day of the programme, participants had the opportunity to meet each other and share their experience within sessions which were dedicated to the role of women in modern world.

On the second and third day, participants attended yoga morning session, while the rest of the second day was devoted to managing their careers, their time and themselves. By working with lecturers and the exchange of experiences, they had the opportunity to better showcase challenges in making their career decisions and in their personal development.

Through workshop about assertive communication and decision-making, participants have tried to identify the most common challenges in communication and have assessed their level of these skills.

Programme Intermezzo for you has ended with Fashion coaching sessions, where participants have been presented the ways they can empower their personal style. After closing the programme, Vesna Djukic, General Director of Belgrade Open School and Aleksandra Bradic, manager of Bioten Serbia awarded participants with certificates.

At the beginning of the programme, participants received the Diary of possibility as a supporting material which represented their personal guide through topics that were covered within the programme. Its purpose was to help participants in their future concerns and problems encountered during their personal development, but also to return to it in order to find answers to these challenges.
