The one-year educational program Future Studies is intended for all students who want to learn, create, contribute to their environment and the community that surrounds them. Future Studies are created for ambitious young people, ready for continuous professional and personal development.
How can you apply the knowledge acquired at the faculty in other areas? How much do you know about artificial intelligence? What should a public performance look like? Why is the fight for better environment important? How does a country's economy work? How is the media space shaped? These are just some of the questions that the program provides answers to.
A particularly useful segment for all students is the internship program. The goal of the internship is to prepare students for the world of work and to help them acquire competencies that are in demand in the market. Belgrade Open School has cooperation with many institutions, organizations and companies that gladly accept students from the program into their team.
The realization of the curriculum of the Future Studies is supported by eminent experts, lecturers in the program, who come from the academic community, but also from the public and business sectors. The curriculum is divided into two semesters and into four modules: Future of State and Society, Skills for the Future, Looking towards Europe and Classroom 4.0. The advantage of lectures refers to great interaction between lecturers and students. Everyone has the opportunity to express their mind, opinion, but also to ask the lecturer everything that interests them.
A significant part of the Future Studies is the Alumni2Students mentoring program, within which students receive support and advice from senior colleagues from the Alumni Network of the Belgrade Open School. Mentoring couples are free to organize their cooperation in a way that suits them. Through informal gatherings and meetings, students and mentors often become future collaborators and friends.
The Final project that students write at the end of the program is an opportunity to explore current topics and issues that are insufficiently covered and publish the paper in the form of an academic paper, policy paper or case study. Each paper shall be published within the Belgrade Open School Collection and represents an important reference for students.
