At the suggestion of the Evaluation Commission and with the approval of the Donor, it was decided that this year 9 grants in the amount of 13,000 USD and 4 grants in the amount of 5,000 USD will be awarded, thus supporting a total of 13 advocacy initiatives, and not 10 as stated in the Call for proposals. According to the Evaluation Committee, the smaller grants of 5,000 USD will enable the participations of a larger number of CSOs in the Program and support the development of local civil society organizations that have advocacy potential and require additional support in improving their organizational capacity.
In addition to financial support, selected organizations will also receive support in strengthening their advocacy and communication capacities.
BOS congratulates to all the organizations whose project proposals were supported within this year's call and once again thanks all the participants who demonstrated in their proposals that active citizens are all around us.
The approved projects will be implemented from April to October 2021.
