The project team of the Belgrade Open School, within the Sustainable Development for All Platform, has produced a publication "A Few Word About Sustainable Development" which covers six Sustainable Development Goals that deal with environmental issues.
The publication presents the Sustainable Development Goals related to environmental protection, explains their content and gives an overview of the situation in the world and in Serbia on a specific issue that addresses this goal. When it comes to the Sustainable Development Goals and the 2030 Agenda, which is the umbrella document on sustainable development, it is very important that citizens understand their content and recognize the importance in order to be motivated to get involved in decision-making processes or take concrete action. The aim of the publication is to bring closer to the citizens important topics in environmental protection that are included in the mentioned Sustainable Development Goals, and you can download the complete publication HERE.
The publication was created within the framework of the Sustainable Development for All Platform, supported by the Governments of Switzerland and Germany, and implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH. The project partners are the Belgrade Open School, the Belgrade Fund for Political Excellence, the Center for Advanced Economic Studies, the Ana and Vlade Divac Foundation, the Center for Democracy Foundation, and the Timoc Youth Center.
The Sustainable Development for All Platform implies the establishment of a public dialogue among the most important non-state actors in Serbia, such as civil society, corporate sector, academic and research community, professional associations, media, and citizens, on aligning Serbia’s development priorities with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The idea is to facilitate interaction with decision-makers on aligning Serbia’s development priorities with the goals contained in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
